We’re building a powerful lineup of speakers ready to tackle the critical issues facing maternal health in Pennsylvania. To make this Summit the turning point our state needs, we’ve looked for bold voices and fresh perspectives committed to advancing maternal health equity and ensuring all birthing people receive the care and outcomes they have every right to access and experience.
We welcomed ideas and submissions from maternal and child health, pediatrics, OB/GYN medicine, all public health and medical professionals, social service agencies, advocates, systems-change experts, and community members interested in improving maternal and child health, supporting families, and increasing quality and access to prenatal and postpartum care. The goals are to educate professionals about resources and strategies that can drive positive changes in maternal health equity.
The call for speakers is closed. All speakers who submitted proposals will be notified of their invitation status by Wednesday, July 9.

Keynote Speaker
We’re thrilled to welcome award-winning actor, producer, and director Terri J. Vaughn as our keynote speaker for the Maternal Health Summit. Known for her roles in The Steve Harvey Show, Meet the Browns, and Netflix’s She the People, Terri brings powerful personal stories to the stage, having experienced firsthand the health challenges uniquely faced by women of color and older women.
